Sicily – Val di Noto

SICILY - VAL DI NOTO

BETWEEN DREAMY BEACHES, VULCAN LANDSCAPES AND ANCIENT TOWNS

Suggestion: April - September - October Minimum 7 people Open Scheduling

Sicily

One of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea awaits you for a unique tour between dreamy beaches, mountain landscapes, volcanoes and historic towns. Its diversity from north to south makes it uneven and all to be discovered by bike. Ragusa, Noto and Syracuse are just three of the places we will visit on a journey that combines sport, culture and holidays.

The fashinating Trinacria

It is nature that seems to have destined its greatest wonders to this land: mountains, hills, and above all the sea, with its incredible colours, the transparency of its waters and the beauty of its seabed. A fascination enriched also by the precious archaeological testimonies of Trinacria (ancient name of Sicily), and by the many monuments, testimony of an art forged over the centuries.

Uncontaminated Nature

Our journey will start from Catania cycling next to Marzamemi, in the most south-east part of the island, then San Giacomo and Ragusa, bike trip to Donnafugata Castle and to Punta Secca.

Professional Guide

Rodolfo Massi, assisted by his staff, personally follows all cyclists pedalling with them, providing his professionalism, services and advice that come from his great experience and infinite passion for cycling.

From Nature to Towns

Going further to an extraordinary sensorial experience at the Scicli aromatic garden, ride to Solarino, Sortino and Priolo Gargallo along the Pantalica area and finally to Ulysse's Ortigia island.

Easy Cycling

If you're not trained, don't worry, we might offer two bike types, choosing between mtb and racing bikes, between the lightweight carbon model (weight 11 kg) with a little help and standard e-bikes (20-23 kg) with more thrust and power.

What to eat in Sicily

Complex and articulated, Sicilian cuisine is often considered the richest in specialties and the most spectacular in Italy, an expression of the culinary art developed since the times of Ancient Greece, a regional gastronomic culture handed down from generation to generation. Among the most famous dishes are Cassata Siciliana, Granita con Brioche, Arancino, Busiati con Agghia Pistata, Cous Cous di pesce, Parmigiana di Melanzane, Pane e Panelle, Pasta con le Sarde, Sarde Beccafico and Cannolo con Ricotta.
